Social Media Policy
Introduction
SOALON Corporation (hereinafter the “Company”) has established the following terms of use (hereinafter the “Terms of Use”) for official social media accounts (hereinafter the “Official Accounts”) operated by the Company in order to realize valuable communication with everyone who uses the Official Accounts (hereinafter the “User(s)”). The term “uses the Official Accounts” includes, but is not limited to, posting, commenting, following, and registering on the Official Accounts. In order to realize better communication, please read and understand the following before using the Official Accounts. If each of the Official Accounts has separate terms of use, please check those as well.
Basic Policy
1.The Terms of Use shall apply to all Users of the Official Accounts. Users of the Official Accounts shall be deemed to have agreed to the Terms of Use and shall abide by the Terms of Use and the terms of use of each platform that operates the Official Accounts.
2.When using social media, our Company makes every effort to widely disclose corporate information to society in a fair, impartial, and accurate manner.

Disclaimer
1.Our Company’s official announcements and opinions are posted on the Company website and in news releases, etc. Information posted on social media by our Company or our Company employees does not necessarily represent official announcements and opinions of our Company. Content posted by the User does not reflect the opinions or ideas of our Company, our Company employees, or others involved.
2.Our Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information posted by our Company or our Company employees on the Official Accounts.
3.Our Company bears no responsibility for any content (comments, photos, videos, audio, music, etc.) posted by the User.
4.Our Company bears no responsibility whatsoever for any problems or disputes that may arise between Users or between Users and third parties in connection with the Official Accounts.
5.Access by our Company to the User’s publicly available accounts and profile information such as the User’s name and other profile information, profile picture, gender, network, user ID, and friends list disclosed by the User shall be deemed to have been permitted.
6.If the User causes any damage to a third party in connection with the use of the Official Accounts, the User shall compensate for such damage or resolve the dispute with the third party at his/her own responsibility and expense, and shall not cause any problems for our Company.
7.The information provided by our Company or our Company employees on the Official Accounts and the content posted by the User are to be used at the discretion and responsibility of the User who posts or views them; our Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User or any other third party as a result of the foregoing, except in cases where such loss or damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of our Company.
8.Operation of the Official Accounts by our Company may be terminated, delayed, or suspended at any time without notice.
9.We do not guarantee that we will respond to any postings from the User.
10.Our Company will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User as a result of the use or unavailability of use of the Official Accounts.
Compliance with the Terms of Use
The User shall not engage in the following acts when using the Official Accounts:
1.Impersonation of a third party including our Company;
2.Political, electoral, religious, or other similar activities;
3.Acts for the purpose of committing crimes, acts that induce criminal acts, or acts that forewarn of or suggest crimes;
4.Posting inappropriate content, including violence, obscene expressions, etc.;
5.Posting or sending harmful computer programs, etc., or hacking into computers by borrowing names or addresses;
6.Copying, selling, publishing, or otherwise using the information obtained through the Official Accounts beyond the scope of private use;
7.Tampering with information obtained through the Official Accounts;
8.Any act that interferes with the operation of the Official Accounts or causes or may cause disadvantage to a third party including our Company;
9.Infringement of our Company’s or a third party’s copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, or any other rights, or trade secrets;
10.Acts that damage the reputation or credibility of our Company or a third party;
11.Spamming, multiple or repeated postings;
12.Postings that include information about a third party’s privacy;
13.Defamation of a specific individual, company, property, region, nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, etc.;
14.Interfering with other Users’ use of or access to our Company’s services or a part thereof;
15.Acts that violate or may violate acts, laws and regulations, public policy, or the terms of use of the platforms that operate the Official Accounts; and
16.Any other expressions that fall under the following:
(1)Those that contain discriminatory expressions;
(2)Statements that are questionable from a moral standpoint;
(3)Those that disclose private communications with our Company or third parties;
(4)False information, fraudulent statements, or any other information that may be misleading to others;
(5)Those that identify, disclose, or divulge personal information without the consent of the individual;
(6)Those that do not conform to the purpose of the Official Accounts;
(7)Those that are intended for affiliate, advertising, promotion, or solicitation purposes; and
(8)Any other acts that our Company deems to have a risk of disrupting the order of the Official Account.
Our Company reserves the right to delete any information or content posted by the User on the Official Accounts, block access to or postings on the Official Accounts, or take any other necessary action without prior notice if any of the above is determined to be applicable.
Copyright Policy
The copyright for the content posted by the User on the Official Accounts belongs to the User himself/herself; however, by posting content, the User shall be deemed to have granted our Company the right to use (including processing, excerpting, reproducing, publishing, translating, etc.) the posted content free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis worldwide, and also shall be deemed to have agreed not to exercise any copyright or moral rights, such as the decision to display or not display names, against our Company.
Personal Information
Our Company appropriately manages the personal information of Users obtained by our Company in accordance with our Company’s Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Terms of Use
Our Company may change the Terms of Use at any time without the consent of the User. If the Terms of Use are changed, a revised version will be posted on this page, so please check the latest version before using. The revised version of the Terms of Use shall also apply to information posted prior to the change to the Terms of Use (including comments from the User).
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising between the User and our Company regarding the use of the Official Accounts and related services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
